Below is a list of common questions you may have with regards to your painting:

Q: Do you work from life or photographs?

I do both, however most people don't have time to spend up to 5 hours sitting in a studio. You may request a painting from life if you prefer.

Q: What kind of photograph works best for portraits?

The clearest photo you can find of the person or pet. Professional photos work very well because they are usually taken under bright lights. To get the best results, provide more than one photo so the artist can get a better understanding of the subject to be painted.

Q: Do you need any information besides a photograph?

The more the better! None is required but explaining the subjects personality and quirks will enrich the painting and help it become as accurate as possible.
