Terms and Conditions

Below are some simple terms and conditions for undertaking a portrait or commission:

1. A $150.00 non-refundable deposit is required to begin a painting. This covers the cost of my materials in the event that you no longer want your painting.

2. Any changes or alterations to the painting after it has been completed will be subject to a fee. Please be very specific about details and important features you would like such as background or clothing color during your consultation with the artist.

3. Buying your painting means you are buying the rights to the original only, and you are NOT allowed to make prints from it. You may obtain prints of your painting from the artist, and be assured that a print will never be made or sold without your permission.

4. If in the event that you no longer wish to buy your painting, I will NOT sell it to another party or make prints from it, I will keep it in my possession unless at some point in time you wish to buy it.

5. Any photos you give to the artist to work from must be COPIES only. They may become damaged or lost during the painting process and its safer for all if they are copies.
